Filing Inventory and Accounts
All filings with the Office of the Commissioner of Accounts must be either mailed to P.O. Box 2737, Charlottesville, VA 22902 or delivered in person to the front desk at 418 East Water Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902 during normal office hours. This office cannot accept electronic filings as the Circuit Court requires original signatures on filings.

Please feel free to deliver filings without an appointment at the reception desk during office hours.
For limited after-hours deliveries, the entrance on the right side (the courtyard entrance) will bring you inside the building where there is a drop box at the door. The building doors are locked in the evenings, so this is not available at all times.

The Commissioner’s Office generally observes all Albemarle County Circuit Court holidays and inclement weather closures/delays. During a weather event, please call the office before traveling to verify that the office is open.
